One of the lightest pedals available

- Siep, 5 September, 2022

24 grams lighter than an XTR pedal of 3x the price. That was enough for me to look no further. So far I am very satisfied with it after about 600 km, about the durability I can't say anything yet. The durability would be the only thing that could give this pedal a downside, although for this money you can of course buy a new set every year.

Pros & Cons

Affordable
Lightest SPD pedals available

No critical comments. Operation and adjustment is familiar, as from previous use of SPD pedals.

Good and light pedals.

- Frans, 7 July, 2022

I cannot say anything about the quality over a longer period of time but after about 1,500 km, mostly asphalt, I am very satisfied. They are quite light for this type of pedals. I use them with Shimano SH-56 cleats and engaging and disengaging them is fine. So I am very satisfied with these pedals so far.

Super set of pedals and equally super service from Mantel!!!

- Peter, 13 April, 2022

I was looking for a good set of spd pedals for my new gravel bike and then you can quickly lose sight of the forest for the trees with all the products on the market and all the suppliers. So let's start with the requirements my set had to meet. -Cost around €50, how crazy do you want to make it and why? -weight; very important! But if you do have the choice, as light as possible within the limits of cost and build quality, among other things. -Reviews; without having read good reviews I buy almost nothing -Looks; the eye wants something too! Oh yes and SPD as I have been using this for quite a few years(but I would secretly like to try Eggbeaters too) So after many searches, I kept coming up with these pedals from BBB. I've had them for a month now, they haven't had to endure any bad weather yet but so far nothing but praise. Operation is flawless, smooth and I am always sure I am clicked in, no creaks and grunts when clicking in/out or putting on the pedals. Oh yes and perhaps the most important requirement besides those mentioned earlier is: That the supplier provides good service and has good reviews!!! Well and Mantel does have that and so does mine! -Fast delivery -Good feedback on the status of the order -Good "aftersales", so not of "after the order you hear nothing more"! So all in all, a fine experience with the pedals and with Mantel!

Great pedals

- Frans, 2 November, 2021

I use the pedals on my gravel bike. I previously had the Shimano Es600 but I like the double-sided clipping in and out more. I don't miss the lack of the platform like on the Es600. The spring tension for engaging and disengaging is fine adjustable. And it is one of the lightest double-sided spd pedals at a great price. I've been using them for a month now so I can't comment on durability yet.

Very happy

- Jaime, 15 November, 2020

Very happy, I use them on several bikes, light, used with their cleats the lateral movement does not have as many degrees as Shimano. The only downside is that I have to put oil in them every few days or they make some noise.

Pros & Cons

Lateral movement smaller than shimano
Light
Some noise if you don't grease
