Time brought a revolution in pedal technology with the introduction of the ICLIC generation.
These pedals have a hollow steel axle. ICLIC is the first pedal that uses a flexible carbon blade instead of the conventional metal spring. Resistance to fatigue is improved and it's weight significantly reduced (-43% compared with a metal spring). Iclic is also the first pedal with pre-opening automatic connection (Time patent). Thanks to Iclic connection the connection is immediate, intuitive, without friction - effortless. Iclic is the first "open" pedal.
The one-piece 'Café' cleats have 3 non-slip stabilizers. These stabilizers are not part of the engagement system, and although very durable, they have no effect on the preservation, even if they are worn. The widely placed polyurethane stabilizers provide grip on the ground and also provide excellent stability.
