The extreme rigidity of the UD-carbon construction is partly due to the enormous amount of feedback from the pro's during its development. The carbon construction isn't the only reason for the extreme rigidity; the enlarged and widened clamping area for 31.8 mm handle bars also helps. The revolutionary 260 degree bar-clamp moves the sheering forces of the bars away from the 4 bolts, reducing the amount of stress.
