Torque wrench set nicely at 4nm to fit my new saddle and seat post. Did not hear or feel a click during tightening as used to other wrenches. Carbon frame cracked. Regret as hair on my head.

I had tested the torque wrench briefly and then it buckled fine at the torque. when I applied it to use 4.2 Nmm for tightening screw I used the ratchet. i happily kept turning trusting that it would buckle on its own. it didn't, i broke the as-screw and was able to have it drilled out at the bike shop. i suspect it's in that you have to reach the torque in 1 turn of the ratchet and not stop in between.

I already have a 5-25Nm torque wrench which is fine, but it has such a long handle, it's likely to hit the frame when in use. The little torque wrench is nice and short, after all you don't need much leverage to achieve the sorts of torques needed on a bike. It comes in a nice case with hex bits included and has a calibration certificate, which adds confidence to using it. All in all a pleasure to use and own.

After an extensive comparison test in 'Fiets' magazine, I decided to order this torque wrench, due to the purchase of a carbon road bike. Safer because of the sensitivity of carbon. Not for a moment ;-) regretted the purchase. Solid build quality, nice handle, clearly readable window, easy to adjust with clear graduations and a tangible 'click' at the right moment. It is stored in a solid case in which you are reminded to turn it back to 2Nm every time before storing it. Great!

For the assembly of my carbon frameset, I was looking for a torque wrench. Considering the range, this wrench was one of the candidates. The price and reviews were the deciding factor and so I ordered it. The wrench comes in a sturdy/rugged box with a zipper. On the inside you will find imbus and torx sockets along with the torque wrench. In the pocket on the inside there is an inspection certificate. Very easy to use by pressing and turning at the bottom. The newton meters can be read through the glass. If you use the key and you reach your torque then the head 'nods'. So you hear and see that you have reached your torque, very easy. Tip for anyone with a torque wrench: After use, take the pressure off and turn it back to 0. This ensures that the wrench stays good and accurate longer. All in all, a fine wrench at an acceptable price.

Without a torque wrench, the force used is anyone's guess. The force to be used is listed on crucial parts. So never over-tighten or over-loosen screws.
