According to the product specialist
Pros
The water-repellent outer layer provides protection from light rain and road spray, keeping your hands dry for a long time.
The soft lining retains warmth well for increased comfort.
With touchscreen compatibility, the gloves allow for using devices without having to be taken off.
The back of the hand is made of Polartec® NeoShell®, which is wind and waterproof and highly breathable.
PrimaLoft® insulation for warmth.
Long YKK® zipper, making it easy to put these gloves on or to take them off.
Reflective inserts for extra visibility.
Touchscreen-compatible inserts, so you can operate your smartphone without taking of your gloves.
-
The stretchy, microporous Shadow membrane repels rain and blocks wind while remaining breathable, without the stiffness of a traditional waterproof membrane.
The new Storm Cuff secures the glove tightly around the wrist to prevent cold air or water from getting into the sleeve.
The Active Insulation lining provides warmth while also allowing for excellent bar feel; it makes the glove thinner than a traditional winter glove but warmer than a mid-season glove.
The index finger and thumb are touchscreen compatible.
Cons
The insulation is not intended for extreme cold conditions but makes the gloves more versatile in milder weather.
If your hands overheat quickly, these gloves might not be suitable for you.
-
The glove has five separate fingers, a design that provides less insulation than a lobster-style or mitten design in the coldest conditions.
