Shimano XT MT801 BSA bottom bracket is the successor of the MT800 bottom bracket. This bottom bracket is suitable for Shimano Hollowtech II cranksets. In addition to Shimano XT, it is also compatible with SLX and Deore. The bottom bracket is very lightweight, and has bearings that are well sealed against dirt and water. That's why this bottom bracket will last a long time without making your bike any heavier.
Please note: you'll need the following tools to (un)install a Shimano 41 mm BSA bottom bracket:
- Pro Team Chainring & Bottom Bracket Tool.
- Shimano TL-FC25.
