Schwalbe Nobby Nic Addix SpeedGrip Super Ground TLE MTB Tyre

The Schwalbe Nobby Nic Addix SpeedGrip Super Ground TLE is a genuine all-round tyre for mountain bikes, suitable for Marathon, Trail and Enduro riders. And Schwalbe gave the Nobby Nic 2020 model a complete makeover! The new aggressive tread design is suitable for any situation on any trail, as the shoulder studs provide stability, grip and control in the corners while the studs in the centre line have a greatly improved self-cleaning structure. Thus, water and mud are immediately dissipated for optimal grip in wet conditions.

Nevertheless, the Nobby Nic is a true all-rounder and will also do very well in dry circumstances. This model in particular, with the Addix SpeedGrip rubber compound and the Super Ground carcass, offers the best possible combination of grip, speed and puncture protection.

Addix SpeedGrip
A light blue stripe across the tyre indicates the tyre is equipped with the Addix SpeedGrip rubber compound. This universal compound is the most versatile compound by far and can be used in disciplines such as XC, All Mountain and Trail. The Addix SpeedGrip has a long lifespan when used intensively, while also offering a lot of grip and speed. Although it may be impossible to find the perfect tyre that ticks every imaginable box, with the Addix SpeedGrip, Schwalbe comes very close indeed!

Consider combining the Addix SpeedGrip as a front tyre with an Addix Speed compound on the rear tyre for great grip, precision and speed!

Super Ground
With the Super Ground carcass, Schwalbe has further improved the SnakeSkin construction. This lightweight and flexible carcass has a SnakeSkin layer from bead to bead which offers full protection against cuts and punctures and keeps the weight down. The ultramodern Super Ground can therefore be used in many different disciplines, from XC to All Mountain.
