Puncture protection: DoubleDefense with GreenGuard

Beneath the tread is a 3 mm thick puncture-resistant layer, partly made from recycled natural rubber. It not only provides protection against sharp objects but also increases comfort.

Certification: ECE-R75 (E-50)

This tyre has been tested and approved for e-bikes and speed pedelecs up to 50 km/h, so you can fit it to a fast e-bike with complete confidence.

Compound: ADDIX rubber

This durable, all-round rubber compound offers grip as well as wear resistance to make the tyre last a long time despite high-intensity use on an e-bike.

How to fit your new Motion Super Moto-X tyre

You can fit this tyre yourself using a set of tyre levers and a pump.

1. Deflate the old tyre: Press the valve until all the air has escaped.


2. Remove the old tyre: Insert a tyre lever between the tyre and the rim and work the tyre off all the way round.


3. Position the new tyre: Start at the valve and work the tyre onto the rim with your hands. Due to the sturdy carcass, this requires some more effort than with a standard tyre.


4. Put the inner tube in place: Inflate slightly so that it retains its shape, place it inside the tyre and pull the remaining sections of the tyre over it.


5. Inflate the new tyre: Inflate to the recommended tyre pressure for your size and load, and check that the tyre sits evenly on the rim all round.

• Keep tyre pressure between 2 and 4 bar (30 to 55 PSI). If you are carrying a lot of luggage or riding a cargo bike, opt for the upper end of this range for greater stability.
• Check the tyre pressure regularly on an e-bike: Due to the added weight of the motor and battery, tyres lose pressure more quickly than on regular bikes.
• If you ride a speed pedelec, this tyre, with ECE-R75 certification, is a safe choice for speeds up to 50 km/h.
• Replace your tyre if you notice tread wear or cracks in the rubber, even if you haven’t had a puncture yet.
