Very nice winter shoe for the road bike. No more cold feet!

Pros & Cons

Have used these shoes for over two months now in winter. In dry weather they remain comfortable until at least 5 degrees of frost. Because they breathe well your feet stay dry better than with a non-breathable overshoe. Also comfortable in the rain at higher temperatures. The insole can come out to dry faster.

It was a pleasure to ride with warm feet in temperatures of 3°C on the day I used them for the first time.

Very comfortable and super effective winter shoes. Thanks to this solution I can do without wasting time wearing shoe covers! I tried them with a technical sock and they solved the problem of cold feet. I have personally tested them in temperatures down to zero degrees without any problems. The fit is classic Northwave, with a wide sole and so they are very comfortable right from the start. After a few rides they tend to take the shape of the foot and become even more comfortable and snug. The roller closure is quick and very intuitive. Given their particularly snug design, thanks also to the upper Goretex insert that protects the instep and ankle, they are a little more complicated to put on than a summer shoe, but just loosen them up and in a few moments the shoe is correctly worn. The sole, compared to other all-carbon models, is more flexible and less rigid, but only those who produce a lot of watts or who sprint often I imagine would notice this as a noteworthy flaw. Overall, I am very satisfied.

This is typically one of those products that makes you think: if only I had done this much earlier. The fumbling with ordinary cycling shoes and different types of socks, with overshoes, and then which ones (neoprene is a disaster as overshoes, it gets your feet wet and cold). Highly recommended if the temperature drops below 6 degrees and you want warm feet (tried them up to around 0)

Fine shoes for winter. Cycled at 1 and 5 degrees, no cold feet. Easy to put on and take off. You do need to have your winter cycling trousers over the top of your shoes, otherwise water will run into your shoe when it rains. Or close another shoe cover over it. Nice closure, simple turning knob.

Haven't been able to try these at low temperatures yet, but around 5gr you do notice they feel very warm. Definitely take 1 size bigger than normal. I wear 42 to 43. Of this shoe, I have 44.

Pros & Cons

I used the shoes in temperatures of 8° to 12° with a summer sock without feeling the cold. I used to wear winter socks and shoes but I wasn't at my best. My feet felt cold and compressed. I think it's a very good investment that can be used for 4 or 5 months of the year, not to mention rainy days, because they're waterproof as long as the water doesn't run down your leg.
