Good winter shoe, just not as stiff as a real racing shoe and the top does not seal either. To prevent water from running into your shoe, you should buy one of those sealing pieces

Nice and warm shoe, solid material! For > 2 hours cycling and really cold weather (below 5 degrees) advice to add good socks and overshoes.
