Magura Service Kit

Simple basic venting kit, but suffices just fine. Bleeding instructions can be found on the internet. Fill from below. Set brake lever flat. Gently squeeze brake lever several times to get all air out of brake lever. Fill completely with new oil to get desired effect (complete oil change is best). Mininally 40-50ml for front and rear brake is needed.

I use Royal Blood to bleed my MT5 brakes. And to clean and smoothly glide the pistons with it. It's enough for that. I don't know if it's enough for a whole new installation. It seems to be.

Filling the brake system went fine. I did recommend replacing the brake pads. With worn pads the brakes cannot be adjusted properly.

I wanted to bleed my Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brake lines. After some trial and error, I was able to combine the right parts from the service kit. The bleeding itself was easy and worked well.

You get a set with many reducers, lock washers and nipples. If you have an old HS11 brake then there are no parts in this set that are usable if the handle does not work.
