Wouldn't know why you wouldn't do it on your navi.
Since there was already a review on the Chaperon glass protector I wanted to put on my Germin 1040, I was a bit hesitant. But completely unjustified! The glass protector came in a neat little package with all the necessary installation stuff included. Via the URL (on the back of the box) I went to the installation video and followed it step by step. Just sat down to install it and the result is great! After everything dried you can't see it's there now. If the screen is now well protected I wouldn't know why you wouldn't do it.

don't buy it if you want it neat
Just followed the procedure -> the film is thin and very difficult to apply without bubbles / small creases. For me, it either has to be on perfectly or not. Thing is in the bin. No manual, no big deal - is on the internet.
