PowerBar 5Electrolytes is a refreshing thirst quencher that offers you the five most important electrolytes (sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium and magnesium). These five electrolytes support essential basic functions during exercise, such as fluid intake (sodium), regular energy-providing metabolism (calcium, magnesium), and normal muscle function (potassium, calcium, and magnesium). These are also the five electrolytes you lose most through perspiration during exercise. The 5Electrolytes tabs replenish these electrolytes before, during, and after the effort.

The PowerBar 5Electrolytes tabs do not contain sugars or calories, which makes them ideal for when you want to quench your thirst with a low-calorie drink. You may want to do so, for example, during efforts which do not require replenishing carbohydrates (such as workouts that last shorter than 90 minutes) or training aimed at promoting fat burning. The 5Electrolytes tabs can also be useful for sufficient hydration before and during training in high temperatures when you sweat a lot.

The 5Electrolytes tabs are easily dissolved in a bottle of water. A single 5Electrolytes tab can be used to make 0.5 to 0.75 litres of sports drink.

Please note: The 5Electrolytes flavours Pink Grapefruit and Lemon Tonic contain 75 mg of caffeine per tablet.

Recommended use: Consume 5Electrolytes preferably for sports efforts that last shorter than 90 minutes and that do not require replenishing of carbohydrates, or for training aimed at promoting fat burning. Dissolve 1 tablet in a 500 ml bottle and consume 3 to 4 hours prior to the sports effort. Drink 250 to 500 ml per hour during the remaining hours prior to the effort. Drink one bottle containing 500 ml of water and one 5Electyrolytes tablet per hour during the effort.

Recommended dosage: Dissolve 1 tablet in a 500 ml water bottle. It is recommended to consume no more than 2 tablets per day. Use a prepared solution within 24 hours.

Warning: The PowerBar 5Electrolytes flavours Pink Grapefruit and Lemon Tonic contain caffeine (75 mg per tablet). Not recommended for children and pregnant women.
