The outer casing is made up of 3 layers plus an internal liner, so that the resistance is as low as possible. This contains a polished and PTFE-coated inner cable that slides very smoothly through this outer cable. Thanks to this construction, the resistance is very low and you can feel it when shifting. It will cost you very little effort to switch to another gear. Cable ends are also included with an extra seal, so that as little dirt as possible gets into your cable.

Worthless
Based on reviews, I bought this cable. I really can't agree with it. After 2 months, the outer cable broke at the rear derailleur. After removing the cable from the outer jacket, it immediately starts to fray and the cable further down does not appear to feel very smooth.

Great cable!
It's a cable, not much can go wrong with that. But comes across solid, shifts smoother than original SRAM. Great cable!
