The In-Mold construction combines a sturdy polycarbonate outer shell with a shock-absorbing foam lining on the inside. Due to the fusing process it is possible to create an efficient ventilation system, as a result of which the In-Mold helmets are lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
Spherical technology
The design of the Spherical technology is powered by MIPS. This technology helps to divert the forces of an impact from the brain by letting the outer shell move over the inner shell during a crash, eliminating skin contact with hard plastic or abrasive surfaces.
Roc Loc® 5+ Air
This innovative fit system revolutionises helmet cooling, fit, comfort and stability. The patented Roc Loc® 5+ Air design makes the helmet float slightly above the skull, allowing cool air to flow directly over the head, further increasing the effect of the vents and internal channels that dissipate heat from the helmet. Roc Loc® 5 is known for its good micro-adjustments to the fit and, therefore, comfort of the helmet. The fit and angle of the helmet can be easily adjusted with one hand.

Satisfied
Unfortunately, as I could not get used to the Abus airbreaker, and its sweat drainage, I still went back to Giro. The sweatband on the front of the Aries,is quite wider which keeps my sunglasses clean of moisture. Spherical system itself feels a bit fragile but time will tell. The vents themselves are quite large, so any tingling on your head makes you think an insect has flown in. Otherwise extremely satisfied, well finished.

Excellent product
I compare this helmet to my old Giro Aeon: a little heavier (80 g) and a little less ventilated, but tested in special conditions (heatwave). Great comfort on the head.
