Nano Flex 3G material
This cycling jacket is made from Nano Flex 3G material, which Castelli also uses for their 3G arm and leg panels as well as their Sorpasso trousers. The fabric has a soft fleece inner lining and is highly stretchy, which makes it comfortable to wear and provides sufficient warmth on cooler days. The Nano Flex water-repellent layer offers protection against splashing water or a few raindrops. Keep in mind that this jersey is absolutely not waterproof; water can penetrate into the fabric relatively quickly.
3 back pockets and reflective elements
On the back there are 3 pockets which are big enough to hold your stuff. Your safety has also been taken into account; Castelli has added a wide reflective stripe on the middle back pocket and two stripes on the shoulders to ensure your visibility to other road users.

Fine wind- and water-repellent winter jacket
Nice jacket, from which the raindrops run right off, but which still breathes well. The fabric is a bit softshell-like. With a good long-sleeved undershirt, this really works down to much lower temperatures than promised. Even around freezing, I was nice and warm. I cycled with my older winter shirt again yesterday and the difference in windproofness compared to this Castelli is huge, with this shirt being the winner. By the way, the waterproofing also has a downside. Any mud that splashes into the back pockets does not go out when washing, leaving sand inside. A very fine jacket for cycling all winter. About the sizing, with most brands I fall just between M and L, but with this jacket XL is just right.

14 November, 09 degrees, reasonable breeze. Made first ride in the Tutto. With a winter Craft long sleeve underneath and a simple wind body over it. Experienced as sufficiently warm during a non-intensive ride. The inside of the wind body was wet from sweat, comes to a very good moisture wicking jersey which keeps your upper body dry and thus warm. 189cm, 92kg, size XXL fits excellent.
