Nice product but still expected more from it

Performed a fork service after about 100 hours from new. Also immediately cleaned the steering head bearing but still noticed that the lower bearing already sounds and feels raw (52mm). Upper bearing runs smoothly by the way. This set newly installed with build-up of new bike 1600km ago (250km per week approximately). Too bad the lower bearing is almost due for replacement now as it is a bit dirty internally. Clean me bike after every ride to avoid contamination as much as possible.
