Bontrager Kovee Pro 30 Carbon TLR Boost MTB Wheels

The Bontrager Kovee Pro 30 MTB wheels are light and stable due to the wide 36 mm carbon rims. Due to the internal rim bed width of 29 mm, the Kovee's are suitable for 29er tyres from 2.3 inches and up. Due to the large volume of these wide tyres, you can ride with a lower tyre pressure, which greatly improves grip, rolling resistance and stability. The Bontrager Kovee Pro 30 Carbon TLR Boost wheels are therefore especially suitable for trail and enduro riding. But thanks to the low weight of 1500 grams, they're also great for cross country competitions! Especially on winding tracks where you often have to accelerate again from low speed up, the Bontrager Kovee Pro 30 wheels really deliver. In addition, the Rapid Drive 108 hub engages almost immediately, and you feel direct feedback from the power you expend.

If your wheel is damaged within 2 years of purchase, they will asses if a replacement or repair will be free of charge (excluding any additional shipping costs). This can be damage as a result of a fall, but also, for example, from accidentally hitting a curb.

When do I qualify for the Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty Program?
You are automatically part of the program when you are the first owner of a Bontrager full carbon wheel and have purchased it after 1-11-2018, in our webshop or in one of our stores. This also applies to Bontrager full carbon wheels, which come standard in some Trek bicycles.
Please note: This program does not cover aluminium wheels that are provided with a carbon bonding such as the Aura and the Aeolus Comp.

How do I submit my damaged Bontrager full carbon wheel for repair or replacement?
You can get your damaged wheel to our webshop and stores. As soon as we have received the wheel, we will send it to Trek. Next, Trek examines which option, depending on the wheel and the severity of the damage, can be offered:
• Repair of a damaged rim (including spokes, decals, nipples where necessary) and factory reconstruction of the original hubs.
• A complete wheel replacement.

Body type at 12-speed
Some 12 speed cassettes must be mounted on the 10/11 speed Shimano/SRAM body. These are the SRAM NX Eagle PG-1230 cassettes and almost all other 12 speed MTB cassettes with an 11 as smallest tooth. MTB cassettes with a 10 as smallest tooth need a special body. This is for Shimano a Micro-Spline body and for SRAM an XD body.
