The BBB SportComfort Anatomic saddle focuses on comfort on longer rides, and also lends itself to the more sporty cyclists. This hybrid saddle is therefore a combination between a touring saddle and a sports saddle. Thanks to the specially shaped design with cut-outs in the middle to distribute the pressure, this saddle remains comfortable even in a sporty cycling position. This is because there is more pressure on your sit bones, which reduces pressure on the soft tissue parts. Even if you are not wearing cycling clothing with a chamois!
Round saddle
The BBB BSD-72 saddles have a round back with relatively thick padding. This makes these saddles very suitable for people who move around a lot and swing the hips while cycling. Because this is a rounded saddle, it gives this sort of rider a lot more freedom of movement compared to a saddle with a semi-round or flat back.
Also suitable for less agile cyclists
This is an S-shape saddle, which means that the saddle is raised at the back and lowered in the middle. This S-shape therefore makes it possible for people who are not flexible in the spine to sit in a sporty cycling position. This has to do with the pelvic tilt. Someone who is not flexible in the spine has more difficulty tilting the pelvis.
In short, the SportComfort Anatomic saddle is the perfect saddle for long rides on your touring or road bike.

Slightly hard
- Arjen 30 May 2024
Feels a bit hard for me at first (on my trekking bike that I also use daily for commuting), but after riding for a while it seems to soften and there is enough comfort for me.
