The Cinturato Gravel H tyre is specially designed for hard and compact surfaces. The low profile with closely spaced studs makes for a large contact area and precise control on all types of hard terrain, including asphalt. Thanks to its tread design, this tyre delivers excellent performance in all weather conditions – both dry and wet – and also offers high levels of puncture protection. The tyre is compatible with hookless rims, and is mainly intended for use on fast, compact gravel roads and long rides with many kilometres of asphalt. This makes it an ideal choice for cyclists seeking maximum smoothness and efficiency on their gravel bike.
ProWALL carcass
The ProWALL casing uses an extra layer of nylon, which enhances puncture resistance but makes the tyre a bit heavier than the version with a TechWALL casing. It also improves the tyre's stability at lower tyre pressures.
SmartEVO compound
To get the most out of tubeless technology, Pirelli has taken its original SmartNET compound and developed it into the SmartEVO compound. This is an evolution of the rubber compounds Pirelli uses in its motor vehicle race tyres. SmartEVO uses three different polymers, each with a specific property; together, they create a balanced rubber compound that performs optimally at both ends of the spectrum. All this results in improved grip in both dry and wet conditions, more comfort and low rolling resistance.
