Description

Description

In order to fit tubeless tyres, you often need a sizeable burst of air. This usually requires a strong compressor in your shed or local bike shop. The Schwalbe Tire Booster means you no longer need one of those, and you can easily inflate your tubeless tyres yourself!

In conjunction with the British start-up AirShot, Schwalbe has developed the Tire Booster. This new pump allows you to inflate a tyre up to a staggering 11 bar. This ensures your tyre is properly placed onto the rim and sealed evenly. At just 435 grams, the Tire Booster is light enough to bring along with you.

Ideal for slamming tubless bikes, whether road or MTB.

- Jean-philippe 28 February 2024

I was able to fit my first tubless tyres easily. There's no need for a compressor, and I can take it with me when I'm out and about, in addition to my bike pump. Make sure that the valve is tight to the tank, as it can be removed. Make sure you use the correct filling pressure for the size of your tyres, and don't forget to brush the sidewalls with soapy water. I advise you to apply the preventive after fitting to avoid soiling your rims. There are syringes with a fine tip that can be used by removing the shell. Finally, I store my wheels with the valve at the bottom so as not to risk clogging it.
