Description

Description

The Vittoria Terreno Mix Graphene 2.0 tyre is an all-rounder among cyclocross and gravel tyres, and can be used on many different types of terrain and in all weather conditions. The pattern on the tread maintains a balance between speed, traction and grip on a variety of surfaces. The centre of the tread is equipped with centred, medium-high studs. These studs give you speed on dry, flat terrain. The open profile on the shoulders creates maximum traction on loose ground and in the mud. So ensuring the Terreno Mix G2 can be used on any terrain.

The Terreno Mix G2 tyre has a nylon casing of 120 TPI. This stiff and hard-wearing carcass will not let you down on rough surfaces. Like the other tyres in the Vittoria G2 collection, the Terreno Mix G2 features the Graphene 2.0 rubber mix. By using Graphene rubber compounds, Vittoria is able to create an optimal balance between grip, durability and rolling resistance.

A good all-round tyre with a fairly mountain-bike feel

- Alain 26 July 2023

Grip is perfect, thanks to the very MTB-style profile, which could give the impression of high rolling resistance, but this is not the case. No feeling of the tyre pulling. The casing is very rigid, so you need to ride at low pressure on the trails: in electric gravel, I'm at 1.8 front and 2 rear. Beyond that it bounces, below that it's a blur.

Super cross tire for all conditions, including dry.

- Tymen 23 September 2022

I had the Dry version of this tire for two years, but needed more grip. Both in wetter soil and just in corners. They perform super. I personally feel they only roll a fraction slower than the Dry. Even though they have a whole extra stud edge in the middle. I slide off much less on dry climbs and am much more confident when cornering. I have the 40mm wide version; bolts really nicely on my wide rims. I couldn't get them on my Bontrager Aeolus rims by hand. That required a plastic attachment. But they were plopable with a regular pump afterwards. One of the tires is still slowly deflating, but under riding no problems. It would be great if the tires could also function under 2.5 bar, but then they burp and you are pumping on the road.

Pros & Cons

Lots of grip
Rolls very fast
Tubeless quite easily
Slightly heavier

Very satisfied with the tires.

- Paul 9 September 2022

Participated in the Ride Gravel, tough terrain, sharp boulders and rocks. No damage at all to tires and rims. Approx 5 bar pressure. And good grip in challenging descents and climbs

Pros & Cons

Good grip
Low rolling resistance
Strong in tough terrain with boulders and rough terrain

Perfect tyre for all-round use.

- Tom 22 June 2021

Very competitively priced tyre that does what it promises. Definitely the best tyre if you only want to use one set on a fast gravel bike or cyclocrosser. Works perfectly tubeless i.c.w. Mavic Allroad wheels. Not much trickier to fit than other tyres. Compared to the Terreno Dry, they dig in slightly faster when riding over very loose sand. As long as you avoid big mud puddles, you'll fly over everything with this tyre. Also works well on low tyre pressure.
