The Continental Cross King II Performance MTB tyres have the most all-round tread. They are suitable for dry forest ground to the most muddy conditions. The Continental Cross King II Performance tyres have an open tread which stimulates grip retention during riding. The flexible carcass of 3 layers of 180 TPI ensures low rolling resistance.
Based on active silica compound, a material was sought for the Performance segment. After extensive research, our R&D department came up with a new compound with excellent grip and life span properties. This new rubber with the name "PureGrip" follows directly on the BlackChili Compound and is used on racing and mountain bikes in the Performance class. This tyre with a lot of grip and a long life span is exclusively made in the Continental factory in Hefei (Asia).

affordable good tyre

2 months in use , unfortunately only had bad weather . So on dry sand I have not been able to test yet. In mud, reasonable grip. Rolls smoothly on asphalt and with almost no noise.

I tested these new tires during a mountain bike tour in very muddy conditions, on greasy, slippery and wet ground. These tires are remarkably agile and motric (mounted in 2.0), highly recommended! What's more, the price is very affordable for a tubeless tire.

The price is very favorable. I have a 27.5" rim, and decided to replace the same tire from continental. Even though I have an inner tube myself, I was pleasantly surprised that this one is tubeless! Highly recommended!
