Connecting to Windows PCs: Do you own a Tacx Flux S Smart and do you want to get the most out of your trainings than you would with smartphone or tablet apps? You can connect your trainer to your computer. This way, you can train using the Tacx Desktop App. This way, regulating resistance and performance data read-out uses your computer instead of your tablet or smartphone. For example, you’ll be able to ride using longer videos with HD or Blu-Ray quality and your resistance will change based on the slope angle.

Tacx Desktop App Premium Account: The Tacx Desktop App Premium allows you to enter the world of virtual cycling environments. This makes indoor training more exciting than ever. Cycle famous, staple trails, climbs and other unique routes from all over the world. Race against your friends or other contestants for a spot on the stage, cycle through the most gorgeous courses and receive live performance data (cadence, speed and power). Training inside is made more realistic than ever before thanks to the Tacx Desktop App Premium.

Virtual speed: To allow cyclists with a motor brake and an electro brake to race each other through Multiplayer, Tacx developed virtual speed. This translates energy into speed, which guarantees an honest contest. If this speed deviates from the rear wheel’s speed, the virtual speed will be shown on screen in a red font. Ideal for Zwift contests and trainings in TrainerRoad or Kinomap.

Tacx desktop app
In order to guide your training sessions and to be able to improve your condition Tacx has developed an app with the Tacx training software that you are used to from Tacx. In the free functions you can create your own trainings and cycle freely, but not yet with tacx movies or in a virtual reality environment. In addition to creating trainings, you can analyze your data, you have access to a dashboard with statistics, you can export data to Garmin Connect or Strava and you can follow your friends.

You can also make use of a library full of high quality training videos for a fee. This option is available for 9,99 euro in PREMIUM and for 13,99 euro in PREMIUM HD quality.
