The Tacx Flux S Smart T2900S turbo trainer is known for its excellent price-performance ratio. It’s ideal for road cyclists and mountain bikers who are looking for a reliable trainer so they can keep training indoors.
The Flux S Smart trainer is the successor of the popular Tacx Flux T2900. Now that the shape of the Flux S has been renewed, this trainer is also suitable for road bikes with a long cage derailleur. Plus, the Tacx Flux S's motor has been further improved to make it even quieter during training sessions.
One of the quietest turbo trainers available
The Flux S Smart is one of the quietest trainers available. That makes it ideal for use in quiet areas.
The Flux S Smart’s integrated power meter has an accuracy with a deviation of at most 3 percent, making it one of the most accurate turbo trainers. Ideal for cyclists who enjoy working with FTP, watts and watt/kg data.
Wide range of training options
The Flux S Smart has a maximum resistance capacity of 1500 watts. Plus, the Smart S can simulate inclines up to 10%. If you connect your bike trainer to interactive software, its electronic brake will automatically adjust your training resistance. This means you can precisely simulate climbs for a very realistic experience.
Connecting to software and devices
You can quickly and easily connect this trainer to other devices, applications and software via ANT+ and Bluetooth. You can also allow Tacx apps or third party applications, like Zwift, to control your turbo trainer using ANT+ or FE-C. The trainer can also be used in stand-alone mode. When it's not connected to other devices or software, the Tacx Flux will simulate a flat road.
The Tacx Flux S Smart T2900S is an excellent choice for cyclists who want to keep training during the winter months.

What do I need to get started with my new Tacx Flux S Smart?
First of all, you'll need a cassette to use the Tacx Flux S Smart. Make sure this casette has the same gears and gear ratio as your current cassette, so you can easily transfer your bike. An 11-28T and 11sp, for example. You can find this information on your cassette. You'll also need a cassette removal tool to install and uninstall cassettes: you can find these here. Depending on your cassette, you might have to install spacers on your trainer's freehub body. If your bike has a 12-speed SRAM cassette, you'll have to install this SRAM XD/XD-R body first. If your bike has a 12-speed Shimano MTB cassette, you'll have to install this Micro-Spline Body first. If you have a bike with a 9, 10, 11 or 12-speed Campagnolo groupset, you'll have to install this Campagnolo body first.
