The latest Shimano Dura Ace 9070 groupset in a Di2 version! The latest technologies are now available for the hardcore cyclist. The new Dura Ace is the lightest, most ergonomic, and most accurate groupset from Shimano.
The additional 11th gear and numerous enhancements provide truly stunning performances. When you ride with Dura Ace, you ride to win! The complete 9070 group weighs about 2276 grams, which is more than 170 grams less than the old 10-speed 7900 Dura Ace Di2 groupset by Shimano. In addition to the 11-speed, there are also other adjustments to the groupset. The front and rear derailleurs are compact, this makes the derailleurs a few grams lighter than their predecessor. Another innovation is that the rear derailleur is compatible with a 28T cassette.
The 11-speed cassette is two centimeter wider than the old 10-speed groupset. The thickness of the sprockets remained the same, but the spacers are slightly narrower. The result of this is that the new cassette only fits on the new Shimano 9000 series wheels. The brakes have also been redesigned. This means the brakes have a double pivot point,so two pivot points instead of one. According to Shimano these brakes provide better control and more stopping power.
The kit comes with a internal battery, you can fit this neatly into your seat tube. Ideal for a clean appearance of your bike!
