When installing or removing this chain, it is useful to break tension on the section where you want to break the chain. To break tension, you can take an old spoke and make a hook, or use the hook already incorporated in some chain breaker tools. Put the hook into the section where you want to work on the chain, and this takes the tension off the chain locally.
Check for chain wear on a regular basis
