Shimano Ultegra R8000 + KMC X11EL

This Shimano Ultegra R8000 + KMC Ultegra R8000 combo offer is a durable and lightweight set with the Ultegra R8000 cassette and the KMC X11EL 11s chain.
The KMC X11EL 11s chain has a low weight and good shifting properties. It is also highly durable thanks to a nickel coating.
The Ultegra R8000 cassette is a high-quality cassette by Shimano. Because of its special design and development, this cassette shifts quickly, quietly and smoothly. Also, the first 5 sprockets are placed on spiders, which increases stiffness and makes the cassette less likely to eat into the freehub body.

There are several cassette ratios to choose for different terrains. For example, the cassettes ending in 25T are used mainly on flat and slightly sloping roads. The 28T is used for hilly terrain and the 30T, 32T and 34T for rides in the mountains. All this, of course, takes into account whether you ride compact, semi-compact or double.

How often should I clean my bike? Regular cleaning will keep your bike in good nick. It ensures that the parts on your bike last longer so that you can enjoy cycling happiness for longer. How often you should wash your bike is largely dependent on what sort of weather conditions you ride in. Are you always out there, come rain or shine? Or are you strictly a fair-weather cyclist? It all has an influence on the degree of wear on bike parts, and some of us have to wash our bikes more regularly than others. Refer to the plan below as a general guideline:

October to March:
• Wash every 200 km
• Rinse after every ride
• Dry and lube the chain after every ride
• Let the bike dry at room temperature

April to September:
• Wash every 300 km
• Rinse after a ride in the rain
• Dry and lube the chain after rinsing or washing
• Let the bike dry at room temperature
