| The benefits of SPD-SLR, such as the low stack height (12.5 mm) and the smaller clip-in angle, are only available with SPD-SLR pedals and cleats. If you use the shoes with your existing SPD-SL pedals, you will retain the stack height of that system. |
| As Shimano shoes tend to run a bit small, you should expect to need a size larger than your trainers. |
