The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel S Gravel tyre is an outer tyre with a classic look and specific tread for great grip on forest soil, mud and the coarser gravel trails. This tyre is also perfect for use on mountain bike courses where a little more technicality is required.
The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel S Bicycle Tyre for gravel use is versatile and all-round and stays clean during the ride thanks to its open stud tread. Grip and maximum control in worse weather conditions take priority over tyre speed. These tyres are compatible with hookless and hooked rims.
The SpeedGRIP Compound is a gravel-specific rubber compound, born from experience in the World Rally Championship, where speed and grip performance on road and off-road are crucial. This formula is based on the polymer composition of the specific MTB SmartGRIP compound while lowering rolling resistance. Application on gravel requires a good mix between grip and speed. The result is a predictable compound with solid performance on and off-road.

Pirelli engineers have wisely combined technologies derived from road bike-specific reinforced carcasses with MTB-specific carcasses to create the most advanced gravel carcass. On the road, most punctures are caused by penetration of sharp objects, while off-road the most common punctures are caused by cuts in the sidewall. For this reason, the TechWALL Gravel features a cut-resistant 120tpi fabric across the entire circumference of the tyre.
