- Thanks to the short knobs on the tread, the Thunder Burt rolls very smoothly on straights.
- The tall knobs on the sidewalls of the Thunder Burt provide plenty of grip and control for sharp cornering.
- The flexible Super Ground carcass offers full protection against cuts thanks to the SnakeSkin fabric.
- Addix Speed is robust and durable and guarantees very low rolling resistance.
- TLE (TubeLess Easy) technology makes the tyres easy to make tubeless with 90ml of latex sealant per tyre.
- Tubeless sealant should generally be topped up every 3-6 months.

These weight indications have been provided by the manufacturer; they may differ from the actual weight when you weigh the tyre yourself at home. This deviation is usually small and is due to the production process.
The Addix Speed rubber compound can be recognised by the red stripe across the tyre. As this compound for cross-country racers has very low rolling resistance, it will make its rider fly over the trails. And taking this low rolling resistance into consideration, the Addix Speed is very robust and durable.
Super Ground
With the Super Ground carcass, Schwalbe has further improved the SnakeSkin construction. This lightweight and flexible carcass has a SnakeSkin layer from bead to bead which offers full protection against cuts and punctures and keeps the weight down. The ultramodern Super Ground can therefore be used in many different disciplines, from XC to All Mountain. The Super Ground is the ultimate carcass for a combination of low weight, suppleness and puncture protection. So you'll have nothing to worry about when you're racing along the fastest trails.
Tubeless Easy
Schwalbe are firmly convinced that tubeless riding is the tyre technology of the future. And so they ensure that all mountain bike tyres bearing the TLE mark are optimised for riding without inner tubes. The construction of the carcass also makes the fitting process easier.

Det bättre grusdäcket
Däcket kan monteras lite tätt, men håller luften över natten även utan mjölk, rullar bra och är mycket bekvämt, på asfalt måste du trampa lite mer, men allt som allt ett mycket trevligt, snabbt XC-däck

I utvärderingsfasen
Mitt köp är avsett för en 170 km lång grusutflykt i juni, hälften väg, hälften spår. Jag har aldrig använt den här typen av däck tidigare, eftersom jag bara kör mountainbikes med dubbar.

Snabbrullande däck på torra vägbanor.
Perfekt däck för "ultragravel" på torra vägar. Snabbt rullande. Klarar lite lera, men det är definitivt inte ett däck för dåligt väder

Utmärkt på vägen!
Jag hade inga problem med att montera däcken på mina 29-tumshjul. Jag hade tvekat att köpa dem på grund av några kommentarer som sa att de var mycket svåra att passa ... men jag hade inte det problemet. De ger nästan inget motstånd när du kör och kräver därför mindre ansträngning för att trampa ... på raksträckor gick jag som en raket (jag kör främst på asfaltvägar). Jag är verkligen nöjd med mitt köp.
