The second protective strip before the hose is glued in place can be easily torn off once the hose is in place.

I fitted this tape, albeit with great difficulty. With rim tape, the backing consists of plastic, such that it is easily removable. With this tape, this is just paper. so it just tears off on removal.

Good and easy alternative to kitting tubes. This allows you to fit a new tube quite easily on the road in case of a puncture.
