Once out of the box this carrier is ready to use, without any tools or puzzling. Assembly on the tow bar is easy: with a single hand movement the BC60 clamps itself down. The pump buckles with long straps will fit on every wheel/tyre type. The frame clamps are lined with soft rubber for a solid clamp, without scratching your bike. The tilting system allows for generous access to your trunk space, even when the bikes are already fitted on the carrier.
The BC60 has received a lot of amazing test reviews: from 'very good' to "wunderbar!"

Great engineering
Compact, easy to attach and set up. Great all round rack

Solid once you work out how to assemble it and mount the bikes.
Took me 2.5 hours to work out how everything fitted, particularly inserting the number plate. The bikes have to be mounted in a certain way, with the positioning of the securing bars critical to the ease with which this can be done by one person. Now that I know how to do it it is easy and only takes a couple of minutes. We have used the cycle rack on a few journeys now and I have confidence in the security with which the bikes are carried. The instruction leaflet could be much clearer! Sadly, one of the plastic light covers has already broken, and had to be superglued back on.
4 / 5
Difficult to set up but sturdy once you have.
The instructions you get with it are totally inadequate, especially in regard to fitting the numberplate. It took me over 1 hour to get it all set up at first. It was expensive so I hope it does the job reliably for many years. Have only used it once up to now so too early to give a full assessment.
