The Sram XX1 Eagle XG-1299 12 speed cassette is for the most part built of a single piece of CNC rotated and milled steel. Only the largest sprocket is made of aluminium. Due to this construction, Sram was able to make the cassette very light without compromising on sturdiness and durability.
The sequence of this cassette is as follows: 10t, 12t, 14t, 16t, 18t, 21t, 24t, 28t, 32t, 26t, 42t, 50t.

The 12 speed cassette fits existing XD drivers. This means the distance between the sprockets has been reduced, making the chain narrower as well. X-Glide 2 is the latest generation of Sram X-Glide technology, optimised for the Eagle 12 speed cassette. It provides fast and accurate shifting under pressure for the entire gear reach and increases the grip of the chain on larger sprockets.

The chain has a nice finish and is equipped with Flow Link technology. This results in a better chain motion and longer lifespan. This is Sram's quietest, strongest, and most wear-resistant chain. The chain comes with an Eagle PowerLock closing link for easy mounting and dismounting.
