The SRAM Red + XX1 AXS Mullet Upgrade kit is an upgrade kit for your road bike, gravel bike or mountain bike with road bike / gravel handlebars. This SRAM Red + XX1 AXS Mullet Upgrade kit gives your bike a wider gear range for in more hilly or mountainous environments. The SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS rear derailleur is part of SRAM's innovative 12 speed electronic mountain bike groupset. Developed specifically for Cross-Country use, the SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS rear derailleur is light, smooth shifting and keeps the chain properly tensioned.
The SRAM Red AXS drivetrain is made up of a wireless SRAM Red AXS 12 speed shifter with a hydraulic SRAM Red flatmount caliper. SRAM Red Etap offers great shifting and braking performance. This is partly due to a full electronic wireless shifting set-up, which is not only easy to mount, but also only needs to be adjusted once. One perfect adjustment and you are good for the rest of the bike's life. The calipers are flatmount and offer good brake force control and a lot of security, even at higher speeds and on descents.
The SRAM XX1 Eagle XG-1299 12 speed MTB cassette is light, extra stiff and looks great. The first 11 cogs of this cassette are milled from a single piece of steel and an extra aluminum blade is placed behind. This construction in the SRAM XX1 Eagle XG-1299 MTB cassette ensures its low weight and high stiffness, turning every pedal stroke into speed. Also, the grinding of the gears is done with great precision, making your shifting extra fast and smooth. At first glance, the SRAM XX1 Eagle 12 speed chain is already a beautiful chain, but the technologies on the inside of the SRAM XX1 Eagle 12 speed chain make it a truly special one. This chain allows for a range that one could previously only get with a double crankset drivetrain.
