Description
Everything for cross, and that's all. The best mountain bike tech combined with the best road racing thech. That is the Sram Force 1 Groupset in a nutshell. It has the large benefit of an 1x11 drivetrain. No more problems with malfunctioning front derailleurs and some weight loss.
The Sram Force 1 rear derailleur with Roller Bearing Clutch technology ensures the chain tension stays perfect. In combination with the special narrow wide teeth on the chainring this prevents the chain from jumping off your chainring when the terrain gets rough.
Added to all of this are the best cyclocross brakes ever made: the Avid Shorty Ultimate, that have a minimalist design and are made out of highgrade materials. Its weight is therefore extremely low, this is normally much more for this type of brake. Although they have managed to provide an unmatched stopping power, it almost has the same feeling as the brakes on a road bike. Can be setup perfectly on your cyclocross bike thanks to the two adjustable modes. These are a few reasons why many pros ride with the Avid Shorty Ultimate.
