Description

Description

SQlab's 602 M-D line Active saddles are very comfortable saddles for trekking bikes. The saddles offer great comfort and relief of sensitive areas for short to medium distance touring. Thanks to the use of a single raised design at the rear of the saddle, the support for your buttocks is significantly increased, providing maximum relief for your perineum and pubic bone.

The Active cushioning allows you to adjust this saddle to achieve the desired cushioning. The seat bones do not sag far, which makes the M-D saddles feel soft without the disadvantages of soft padding. The nose of the MD saddles is low, giving the perineum and pubic bone more room. This relieves pressure on softer tissues, so you get less chafing or a dull feeling in the pubic area. This saddle is suitable for cyclists with an enlarged prostate because of the large recess.

Technology

M-D Line
The M-D Line from SQlab stands for 'maximum dip'. This is the height difference between the back and the middle of the saddle. Thanks to the elevation at the back of the saddle, the bodyweight is distributed in such a way that no weight rests on the most sensitive parts of the seat. These saddles are especially designed for cyclists with a very sensitive seat, perineum or pubic bone. In addition, M-D Line saddles offer maximum relief for cyclists with an enlarged prostate.

Active technology
SQlab's Active technology consists of an interchangeable elastomer in the back of the saddle. This elastomer allows the SQlab saddle to follow your natural cycling motion. Your lower vertebrae are mobilized and the pressure on your sit bones is reduced. Because of this movement, the muscles and vertebrae are used while cycling, reducing the risk of lower back pains. This has the benefit that the SQlab saddles with Active technology are very comfortable.

Comfort on recreational rides

- Eva 12 November 2023

Thanks to customer service who guided me to this saddle! I can now go on bike rides on consecutive days! Even though my measurements and other data lead to another recommendation, that saddle caused me pain, just as the original saddle. I go on shorter trips, around 10 km, on paths, gravel and asphalt.
