Description
Description
Technology
Upper materialThe upper of this MTB shoe is made of Politex, a material that is made up of various overlapping layers with different properties. It combines properties of compacted PVC, textile and felt. Politex offers strong resistance to tearing, impact, deformation and colour fading, keeping this cycling shoe looking good for a long time. Furthermore, the upper is equipped with mesh material and perforations on the inside. In this way, the breathability is increased and the risk of overheated feet is minimised.
MTB Competition sole
The Sidi Gravel is equipped with the MTB Competition sole: a nylon sole that is reinforced with carbon. In this way, the power transfer to the pedals is increased and your efforts on the mountain or gravel bike are better converted into speed.
Other technologies
To ensure a good adjustment and fit, this MTB shoe is equipped with the Tecno 3 locking system. With a simple turn of the knob, the fit is adjusted along the entire length of the shoe. The Tecno 3 closing system is safe and sound to use even while you are cycling. Thanks to the Sidi Heel Cup, the heel is better stabilized and supported. Because of this, the heel stays in place much better and you can deliver more power to the pedals. Finally, the Sidi Gravel is provided with abrasion-resistant material on the toe, so that branches and other objects do not immediately damage this MTB shoe.
User tips
Detailed explanation of sizing in mmIn order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!

Top.product so far
Shoes are very nice with a good fit for me .but I normally have size 42 And with these shoes size 44 .
Pros & Cons

disappointed
With only 1 closure at the top, the shoe cannot be tightened. So super-tight at the top of the instep, but lower still quite loose. Sole has no extra studs, and the optional spikes are quite substantial. Nice material, but quickly dirty and every drop penetrates immediately. Perhaps good for gravel (hence the name ?) but not for MTYB
Pros & Cons

A good all-rounder at a reasonable price
First time buying shoes. Now I have quite a difficult foot but after putting them on, these were like slippers. A firm sole and good for walking when taking a break. Also good grip in muddy conditions.
