Just like the more expensive Dura Ace 9100 it provides superior stopping power, up to 10% more stopping power than conventional brakes thanks to its aerodynamic Direct Mount SLR-EV Dual Pivot design. compared with the Shimano Ultegra 6800 brakes, the Ultegra 6810 uses a Direct Mount, meaning the brake is mounted on two point instead of one.
