Shimano Dura Ace R9200 + CN-M9100 Combo

The Shimano Dura Ace CS-R9200 cassette is light, durable and shifts unprecedentedly smoothly. The cassette is available in different ratios. When choosing these cassette ratios, the "sweet spot" between the 6th, 7th and 8th sprockets was taken into account. These are the gears most commonly used, so you can maintain the ideal cadence. Consisting of high-quality materials such as titanium, carbon and steel that make it possible to create the most low weight cassette.

Shimano 12 speed combines the gears that ride pleasantly at medium speeds, despite large ratio differences. Shimano Dura Ace CS-R9200 Hyperglide+ cassettes come with a new spline mounting pattern, which is also backwards compatible with Shimano HG 11-speed bodies. The new spider also fits 11-speed Shimano bodies. But for the Shimano Dura Ace R9270 wheels, only this Shimano Dura Ace CS-R9200 cassette will fit.

The Dura-Ace 12 Speed chain is a strong smooth running chain with extra long durability. This is achieved by an extended inner plate so that there is less friction around the teeth of the chainring. Also, this chain has been coated with Shimano Sil-TEC, which further extends its durability. The CNC machinin of this chain has been done with great precision. As a result, you will be able to shift quickly and smoothly even in extreme conditions. The chain comes with Quick-Link, so you can easily mount and dismount the chain for maintenance.

Hyperglide+
Hyperglide+ is a technology in advanced cassettes and chains that provides a more efficient way of shifting. Not only faster but also better under load and when subjected to vibrations from the road surface. Resulting in better chain engagement, increased power transmission and smoother pedaling, for more power and confidence on fast changing terrain.

Don't forget the assembly paste!
The lockring of your cassette can be tightened quite securely. In most cases even up to 40Nm. To be able to loosen the cassette, we recommend applying a little assembly grease to the lockring. Our assembly greases can be found here.

How often should I clean my bike? Regular polishing ensures that your equipment lasts longer and that you can enjoy your bike for longer. How often you should clean your bike depends on the weather conditions that you ride in. Do you ride in all weathers or do you only go outside when the sun is out? This all affects the degree of wear and tear and some people will need to clean their bikes more often than others. Take the schedule below as a guide:

October through March:
• Polishing every 200 km
• Rinse off after each ride
• Dry and oil the chain after every ride
• Allow bike to dry at room temperature


April through September:
• Polishing every 300 km
• Rinse off after a ride in the rain
• Chain dry and oil after polishing or rinsing
• Allow bike to dry at room temperature
