Schwalbe Big One LiteSkin 29" MTB Tyre

The Schwalbe Big One LiteSkin has been developed for beach races. Schwalbe got their inspiration for this tyre on the beaches in Holland. During the winter there are a lot of competition rides on these beaches. Schwalbe has set themselves a goal to develop the fastest tyre for beach races. The large volume, combined with a minimal tread built around a smooth carcass ensures that this tyre has a very low rolling resistance. Just like Schwalbe says: ´the tyre with the lowest rolling resistance we have ever produced´.

LiteSkin
This is the lightweight option. The LiteSkin MTB tyres have no Snakeskin, but its tyre bead will ensures a stable bond at higher pressure. Avid mechanics can set these up for tubeless use. However, this is difficult compared to "Tubeless Easy" tyres.

OneStar Triple Compound
The Triple Compound can be found in all the high end Schwalbe tyres. For the race tyres they have called this technology Onestar. This rubber mixture is redeveloped for the Schwalbe One-series. The fast contact surface ensures a low rolling resistance when you are riding straight ahead. The flexible blocks on the side ensure good grip in corners. So you can achieve fantastic results with this tyre.
