Ritchey WCS XC SPD Pedals

The Ritchey WCS XC pedals are light, stiff and have excellent durability. These pedals were in fact co-developed by one of the best mountain bikers of all time: Nino Schurter. A lowered pedal body and extra supple bearings ensure good power transmission and that as little energy as possible is lost in the pedalling process. Even in muddy conditions you clip in very smoothly!

Strong construction, low weight
Ritchey WCS XC pedals have an aluminium body and a Chromoly pedal axle. The advantage of these materials is that they are very strong and durable. By clever use of the materials, this pedal is even almost 20 grams lighter than a Shimano XTR pedal!

Easy to engage, even in mud
The Ritchey WCS XC pedals clip in easily. The design of the claws where the cleat engages has been done with great precision. In addition, the spring tension you can adjust yourself. Finally, the pedal body has larger openings, so that dirt and mud will not accumulate.

Well-sealed and durable bearings
These Ritchey WCS XC pedals have three bearings. This allows them to rotate smoothly and minimises the energy lost in pedalling. All bearings have been given a high-quality seal, ensuring a long service life.
