The tubeless-ready Reynolds Assault SLG wheels will make your ride comfortable and fast. A beautiful and solid tubeless-ready carbon wheelset. They allow you to either run classic inner tubes, or can be configured to take tubeless instead. Tubeless provides you with an additional advantage on descents: normally the inner tube retains a lot of heat caused by braking, which in turn heats up the carbon rim during a descent. If you're not running an inner tube, then the rim will get considerably less hot on your downhill run.
The Reynolds Assault SLG has a special patented aerodynamic lip on the rim. This lip is fitted on the spoke-side of the rim, and allows the wheel to cut through the air more efficiently than other wheels. The letters on the rim aren't stickers, but laser-etched onto the actual rim instead. Reynolds has done this to reduce the overal weight while also making the wheels look even better.

Love the build quality of Reynolds wheels. The assaults are the second set I have bought. Mantel did me a great price on these wheels and delivered when they said they would.
