Wahoo Speedplay

Switched from the normal speedplays to the 'light' click in and out version. Stayed with speedplay for its advantages: - moving the foot (left/right) while being clicked in. This reduces foot fatigue and is better for my knees - walking on the cleats themselves due to the rubber underside - the light weight of the whole setup (pedals and cleats By now, my normal version had run out and it was time for new ones. I opted for the 'light' / easy version due to knee rehabilitation. I like these even better than the original ones: - really very easy to click in and out - no loss of strength/ sticking while clicked in (they do not come off) - slightly nicer due to the neutral grey colour instead of yellow

Pros & Cons

Speedplay is a pedal for everyone because it is available in several price levels. i.e. to choose from steel, titanium and premium carbon fibre materials, furthermore the Speedplay is the only road pedal that is double sided which is only used on mtb bikes. After 40 years of road cycling experience, I can highly recommend the Speedplay pedal system, in my opinion they are the best on the market.
