Once you have got used to the features, it is a recommended purchase.

The current position is not updated quickly enough. When turning off, the map only corrects the position after a few metres. Good route guidance after spontaneous route changes. However, the colour scheme is confusing. First the arrows turn blue, even though you are on the correct route. And after a while, the arrows change to black. Why not switch to black immediately?

Quick and easy product that you can also get to grips with quickly. Is not difficult to learn to work with. All the info you get is good and even navigating was easy!

nice product, screen size just about right

- Marc, 11 April, 2024

I previously had a Wahoo Elemt Bold and when choosing a new one my choice was either a Garmin 540 or Wahoo Roam V2. Because of the ease of setting up via the app etc. and while waiting for improved maps and especially pop up for climbs, I opted for the Roam V2. And also in price it was much more attractive than the Garmin

Pros & Cons

clear
easy connection via app
many options
works intuitively
create extra pages
layout pop-up pages

A pretty good device, but one that can definitely be improved.

The Wahoo impresses above all with an excellently readable screen and the excellent display of the routes in the navigation. These are the main advantages over Garmin. The battery performance is well sufficient. However, the setting via the cell phone, which is actually intended as a convenience, is a problem when the synchronization does not work. Unfortunately, this happens from time to time. What it is due to, I do not know yet. Also, the pause window should not immediately cover half the screen when you stop with the bike. Just when I stand I want to be able to read the data on the Wahoo. Also, I do not like that when interrupted rides the recording is automatically closed after a few hours. If I drive to the office in the morning and home in the evening, Wahoo forces me so always two separate records on. Overall, however, it is a very good device, with which you can especially a given route excellent track.

Pros & Cons

excellent readability
good battery
good usability
very good display of routes
does not always synchronize
interrupted trip is automatically completed
pause window covers half of the screen
