Sturdy wheels that are easy to make tubeless

- Renger, 15 May, 2024

Used these wheels tubeless during a four-day 800-kilometre gravel ride. Ridden quite hard over forest trails, gravel paths, mud trails, dirt roads, etc. Oh, and of course on asphalt. So well used from ride 1 and they have held up very well. Recommended. Good value for money

Pros & Cons

After only 300km, the wheels have to go to the bike shop to tighten the spokes due to rattling

- Jens, 23 January, 2024

After 300km the wheels already have to go to the bike shop to tighten the spokes because of rattling, which is normal according to mantle and at their own expense. Should be mentioned somewhere

Pros & Cons

Light
Price
Already to the bike shop after 300km

Good set of wheels

- David, 13 December, 2023

Review after one ride with mixed gravel and road: The wheels feel solid and fast. The weight is slightly below the specifications at 1580g in my case, and they look really nice. The freehub is the only part that could be a bit better. The sound is good, not too loud when riding, but the 3 pawls of the XDR freehub miss a bit of engagement especially riding on cobblestones or very jumpy terrains. I come from a DT Swiss ratchet and I could feel the difference, but it's still acceptable. Price/quality seems very good, but I need more riding before I can say more.

Pros & Cons

Good looking
Light for the price
Nice sound
freehub engagement

Inexpensive LRS that doesn't have to hide from Zipp 303s and co.

- Mike, 11 December, 2023

Visually very successful wheelset that upgrades any bike for little money. I ride it on my Trek Chekpoint gravel bike with 47 Conti tyres, it looks great. In terms of handling, it fulfils the requirements that a good wheelset should meet. Good sound and handling even on gravel and mud, it cuts a fine figure everywhere. I can only recommend the LRS!

Fine wheelset at a very reasonable price

- Erik, 24 November, 2023

The set feels light but solid. At full throttle, the wheels don't budge despite my 90 kg. The looks are very good, which makes the set seem a lot more expensive than it is. The hubs run smoothly and the body gives a nice rattle. Gripping of the body is fine. After a few hundred unpaved kilometres through all kinds of weather, they are still perfectly straight and run smoothly. Nice also that it comes with a 3-year warranty. That gives confidence.

Pros & Cons

Good looks
Light weight
Nice price
Nice ratchet
Runs smoothly
Internal rim width could be wider for gravel
