Reviews over the
KMC X9 Grey 9-Speed

Sustainable, quiet and convenience ad serves the man,
Been using this chain for years, after I was forced to fit one in England. What an ease of (dis)assembly. Fixed part on our randoneurs and fitness bikes ever since.

Wasn't a fan of a quick link, but am still converted now.
Matched perfectly with the Shimano cassette. To my surprise, it also shifts more smoothly than an original Shimano chain I bought last time.

Chain runs lubricated
I bought this chain as a replacement for a Shimano 9-speed chain that wore out after just over 1,200km. The KMC has better reviews so I chose this one. Fitting was a breeze! Missinglink is a godsend and the crazy thing was that I didn't have to shorten the chain. It was exactly the same length as the old chain that I had put next to it as an example to determine the length. Chain wasn't too expensive and rides great!

excellent chain
Chain runs very light and quiet and lasts a long time.
