Not convinced, protection against rust not in order!

I'm not convinced. Same routine as always; wash, dry chain/cassette with a cloth, each link a drop. To be sure, the side of the chain a bit too. After two/three hours again. Wipe off too much with cloth (only the side, not the rollers) 3 hours later... ROEST! Another polish and slickwax repeated.... next morning even more rust... With squirt no problem. Slickwax over squirt(wax) should go!?
