I've been experiencing a really annoying creaking noise from the drive chain so decided to change the cassette, which was quite old, plus the chain and overhaul the rear hub. My bike is like new and the gear change is superb.

Upgraded from a miche cassette that came with the bike... the Campag is on another level.. hums beautifully ... shifting sharper...why didn’t I do that upgrade sooner

The Campagnolo chorus cassette is very well made, and worth every penny (especially at Mantel's low price!) Personally I always use KMC chains, and this cassette works flawlessly with my X11-SL. Shifting is accurate, fast and quiet if you use good lube. As an extra bonus, it's pretty light too (296g for my 12-29). Lasts for a long time. Don't bother spending more for record/super record... unless you're tripping over gold bars at home...

Campag Build quality and durability. Patterned replacement parts are no where near as good. Well worth spending extra for genuine Campag parts. As I always been told you wear Campag in whilst you wear non Campag parts Out
