| Although heat dissipation is improved due to the cooling fins, these resin brake pads are more sensitive to heat than brake pads with a (semi-)metallic compound. |
| The K05S Resin can lose braking power when it gets too hot, for example during long descents. |
| Both the RS and the E brake pads are less durable than all-metallic brake pads. |
| The sintered brake pads are not suitable for all brake discs. |
